Materials and Processing of Blade Plates

The plate (body) of the Destroyer BG52 10″ General Purpose Blade is laser cut from the 75cr1 Alloy Steel. Then the plate will go through a Thermal/Mechanical Flattening Process for stress relief and flattening. Finally, the plate will be surface ground for the ideal accuracy. These complex processes ensure the blade plate to be super flat and stable during its life time.

Saw Blade Tips

The Destroyer BG52 10″ General Purpose Blade tips are made of the HB03F Industrial Tungsten Carbide with 97% WC and 3% Cobalt. Its particle grain is Submicron Grade (0.2 – 0.4 micron) for great sharpness of the tip. The compressive strength of HB03F is 6800N/mm², which makes the saw blades strong enough to withstand the toughest cutting impact. Finally, the hardness of the HB03F Tungsten Carbide is as high as HV30 2025, this is extremely important for wearing resistance of cutting edges.

Due to the extraordinary quality of the blade tips, The Destroyer BG52 10″ General Purpose Blade can be resharpened up to 20 times, which further reduces the cost of usage.

Accuracies

The runout of the Destroyer BG52 10″ General Purpose Blade is within 0.1mm (0.0039”). The runout of adjacent teeth is controlled within 0.03mm (0.001”). Obviously, the accuracy of this level will guarantee the perfect blade running stability and cutting accuracy.

The BG52 Blade is designed to meet versatile cutting needs. Its Hook Angle, Top Clearance Angle and Top Bevel Angle are all designed to be 15°, which can easily handle both crosscutting and ripping with smooth finish and high efficiency.
